Inverdruie is 1.4 miles from aviemore station. From Aviemore station head south (B9152)to the ski road (B970). Turn into the ski road and Inverdruie is just a short drive away.
About Inverdruie
Now just a quiet village on the ski road, Inverdruie was once the centre of large scale timber operations. Until the railway came to the Highlands, the only way to get timber to the saw mills was to float it down the Spey.
